| RESUME | Pick up from your last saved bookmark |
| PAUSE | Stop the session; gives you a bookmark line for reference |
| GO TO PHASE 1–5 | Jump to the start of any phase by number |

| SWITCH TO SIMPLE | Switch to a 10th-grade reading level (less detail, more clarity) |
| SWITCH TO COMPREHENSIVE | Return to full-depth explanations and language |

After every full phase or the Action Plan, Sober AI will ask:
“Export today’s answers + summary? (Y/N)”
If you say YES:
It saves your answers + sets the next-question bookmark.
If you say NO: it still lets you continue, just without saving.
Sober AI remembers your progress during the session.
You can leave and return later—just say RESUME.
You can interact casually in between (ask anything)—no need to stay in “coach mode” all the time.
If you express suicidal intent or a medical emergency, the system pauses all coaching and will respond with crisis guidance only.
